【Osaka】The Best Standing Bars 2024
NO SEATS means Cheap & Delicious! I think.
There are lots of standing bars especially in Osaka and they offer really good and budget-friendly foods
I am a mother now, but used to do “food crawl” to amount of standing bars in Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto.
After I gave birth two boys, I still enjoy dining at standing bars with kids
They are not only the Bar, but also offer great dishes like fresh Sashimi,
sophisticated Japanese tapas, sometimes Sushi and so on.
Of course their SAKE selection is really seasonal and great.
Here I recommend some local standing bars in Osaka where I hardly see tourists.

となりのジャックとマチルダ ルクア大阪店
The location is just close to Osaka station (B2 floor of LUCUA OSAKA).
I love their tapas with seasonal fish and vegetables.
I also recommend fried fish with handmade sauce.
Even if you visit alone, they will adjust the amount. How kind!

Nakatsu Area : only 10 minutes walk from Umeda (Osaka station) has lots of small restaurants :
cheap & tasty. I had lived there and love to hop eating in Nakatsu.
There are several standing bars I like, but here is the best now.
They use various spices and inspired by Asian Cuisine like Thailand. So special.

Here will be full only with 10-15 people.
Very small place but the food is authentic.
The owner had been working at Japanese cuisine restaurant for more than 20 years and newly opened his own place.
At first I visited, I thought what a hidden place here is. The area is named
Kitashinchi – famous for night bars, clubs, snack bars and small restaurants.
The sushi is also fantastic.
If you can find this place, please try to enter even there are full of local people.
They will warmly welcome you

Which do you want to visit the best?
Their atmosphere is casual and normally have various menu to select, I highly recommend for travelers with kids or alone as well.
